This scholarship is for graduating high school seniors who are residents of Cook County, Illinois. To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must be enrolling as full-time students at an accredited bachelor's degree-granting institution that is eligible to receive Title IV federal aid and is located within the United States. Applicants must demonstrate strong financial need, have a cumulative 3.0 unweighted GPA or higher, be eligible to receive state and federal aid, and will file the FAFSA. Applicants also must be US citizens or permanent residents. Awards are up to $5,000 per year for first-year students, depending on financial need.
