This scholarship is for seniors at the following high schools in Detroit, Michigan: Cass Technical High School, Detroit School of Arts, Renaissance High School, and University Prep High School. To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must plan to pursue a career in science and/or engineering. Applicants must demonstrate strong academic performance while in high school with an equivalent of a 3.0 GPA or better, potential for achievement in post-secondary science and engineering, extracurricular activities that involve science and engineering, and financial need. Scholarship recipients must enroll full-time in a science or engineering program at a tax-exempt college or university in the United States.
