This scholarship is for students in Memphis and Shelby County, Tennessee, who have a parent or guardian with a disability. To qualify for this scholarship, applicants' parent/legal guardian must be receiving Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI) or Supplemental Security Income (SSI). Applicants may be graduating high school seniors, high school graduates up to age 21, or current college students who attend or plan to attend an accredited vocational/technical school or two- or four-year college/university. Applicants must also maintain a "C" average or better.
