This scholarship is for graduating high school seniors and current college students enrolled in an institution of higher learning. To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must receive any local telecommunication service from a RIITA member and be from a rural area in Iowa. Applicants must have a "C" GPA, be accepted or be enrolled at an accredited two- or four-year college, university, or vocational school, and express an interest to live and work in a rural community following graduation. Applicants must be sponsored by their local telecommunication service provider.
