Scholarship Overview

This scholarship is for graduating seniors and recent graduates of high schools in Morgan, Washington, Logan, Yuma, Phillips, or Sedgwick County, Colorado. Applicants must have earned a high school diploma or equivalent within the past two years; high school graduates (public or private), homeschool graduates, and GED holders are all eligible. To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must intend to pursue a career in teaching; demonstrate the potential to be successful in their post-secondary educational journey; and demonstrate financial need. Scholarship awards are intended to assist students who demonstrate financial need but who are not eligible for PELL grants. Applicants must also be US citizens and Colorado residents who are eligible for in-state tuition rates and plan to attend an accredited, publicly funded Colorado college/university. Scholarship award is equal to one year's worth of tuition and fees, based on a 12-credit course load.
