This scholarship is for Jewish residents of the metropolitan Washington, DC area who are studying or conducting significant research or career development in Israel. To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must have completed a minimum of two years of undergraduate study. Applicants must be US citizens or working toward citizenship. Priority is given to applicants who are traveling to Israel for the first time. Scholarships are awarded primarily based on financial need and academic merit.
