This scholarship is for African-American students who are current high school seniors in the Virginia Beach school district. To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must enroll for first-time enrollment in a full-time undergraduate course of study at an accredited four-year college or university in pursuit of a Bachelor of Science degree (preferably in electrical engineering or another technical field). A minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 is preferred but not required. Proof of college or university enrollment, as well as proof of Federal Student Aid Application (FAFSA) must be provided before actual allocation of the award is funded. Applicants must be US citizens.
