This scholarship is for recovering alcoholics and/or chemical dependents. To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must be active in recovery; they must attend meetings, have a home group, have a sponsor, and do service work. Applicants must be enrolled or planning to enroll in an associate's degree, bachelor's degree, graduate degree, vocational, or technical program. Applicants must demonstrate financial responsibility by being gainfully employed and have made restitution for any past debts or be in the process of doing so. Applicants also must live in the greater St. Louis area.
