Scholarship Overview

This scholarship is for high school, undergraduate, and graduates students currently majoring in or interested in majoring journalism with a concentration in visual journalism. To qualify, applicants must be current NABJ members, have a 2.75 GPA or higher, and have visual journalism experience. Applicants must be enrolled full-time at an accredited college or university in the United States. To apply, applicants must write an essay of 1,000 to 2,000 words on the following topic: "What are the top three reasons you would like to pursue a career in visual journalism and how do you use your visual skills to effectively and creatively tell a story?"
