This scholarship is for graduating seniors from Colon High School in Colon, Michigan. To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must have a minimum 2.75 GPA; demonstrate strong work and volunteer history; and plan to pursue a two- or four-year degree. Preference will be given to those attending Michigan colleges or universities. Applicants must include the following: a letter from a teacher or other proof of participation in at least two school-sponsored extracurricular activities; a statement in personal resume or other documentation demonstrating above average citizenship grades or awards; a high school transcript copy demonstrating a minimum of three years attendance at Colon High School; verification from Colon High School that the student has never been expelled from school; and a letter of acceptance to an accredited community college, college, or university.
