This scholarship program is for Western Michigan high school juniors and seniors. Students are encouraged to attend the Princess Ida performance at the Wealthy Theater in Grand Rapids, and bring a parent, relative, or friend; however, it is not a requirement. The performance takes place from May 15th through the 18th. Students wishing to attend who have a financial need will be given a complimentary ticket to the Thursday night performance. A scholarship registration table will be located in the theater lobby before the show. By May 31st, applicants must students submit an application form along with a paper including their thoughts and comments on the issues of Victorian England, and how those issues relate to society today.
