This scholarship is for high school juniors in Chicago, Illinois, who are athletes. To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must live and study in Chicago and have participated in an eligible summer olympic or paralympic sport for two seasons of the past three years. Up to fifty students will be chosen to be WSC Scholars; they will participate in a Kaplan ACT tutoring and mentoring program that encourages academic and personal success during the college application process. Of the fifty WSC scholars, ten will be selected to receive a $5,000 college scholarship renewable for up to four years. For more information, see the WSC website.
