Application Information
Scholarship Overview
Each year the Capital Area Tennis Association, a non-profit tennis organization, distributes between $5,000 and $7,000 in college scholarships to local graduating high school seniors. The Scholarship Committee evaluates each application on the basis of tennis involvement in conjunction with the student’s scholastic achievements and involvement in community services. The committee then submits its recommendations to the Board of Directors for approval. Funds are presented at the CATA Annual Junior Awards Banquet or sent to the recipient’s home. Scholarship funds are acquired from various CATA offered programs.
