Scholarship Overview

The applicant must be a graduating high school senior or planning to enter their first year of college and must be from Tarrant County or the surrounding area (Denton County, Wise County, Parker County, Palo Pinto County, Johnson County, Hood County, Erath County). To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must intend to enroll in a program related to petroleum engineering at an accredited university. Applicants must have at least a 1650 SAT (1090 three-score equivalent, or 24 ACT) score, have a minimum 3.0 GPA, and be ranked academically in the top 10% of their graduating class. Applicants also must be US citizens or lawful permanent residents.
