$1,500 Easy Scholarship: Share a Guide with a Friend on How to Spot Medical Misinformation and Get Fully Vaccinated Against Meningococcal Disease

DoSomething.org

Meningococcal disease is caused by a bacteria, which can cause meningitis, a brain and spinal cord infection with serious health complications. Young people and college students living in dorms are at an increased risk of meningococcal disease, and with in-person classes starting back up in the fall, outbreaks could reoccur. Infections are preventable through vaccination, but many young people aren't fully protected because they've only completed part of the vaccination series. That's where you come in! You could win an easy $1,500 scholarship by taking our fill-in-the-blank Complete What's Missing quiz to test your ability to recognize medical misinformation (including about public health threats like meningococcal disease). Then, share the guide with a friend via text, DM, email, social media, or IRL to educate them on meningococcal disease and medical misinformation (take a screenshot or a photo of your share as proof!) and you'll be entered for a chance to win a $1,500 scholarship. Yep, it's that easy!
