This scholarship is for students who are enrolled or have recently completed (within the past calendar year) a program leading to Specialist in Blood Banking certification in an AABB-accredited institution. Applicants must submit an original paper in one of three categories: a scientific paper reporting experimental work, an analytical or interpretational review on transfusion medicine topics suitable for publication in a professional journal, or an innovative educational syllabus on transfusion medicine topics using traditional or advanced technology modalities.
