Bev Sellers Memorial Scholarship

Young Singers Foundation

The Young Singers Foundation provides scholarships, specifically to young women involved in the barbershop art form, to assist in the furtherance of their music education. The scholarship is named in honor of Bev Sellers' contribution to Sweet Adelines International, music education and four-part, a cappella barbershop harmony. A scholarship applies to one academic year, with payment split equally for two semesters. The Foundation determines the number and amount of awards to be given each year based on results of annual fundraising efforts. Women who have completed at least one semester at the university level are eligible to apply for the scholarship, annually awarded in the spring for the subsequent academic year.
