Calder S. Sherwood Memorial Scholarship

Southeast Virginia Community Foundation

This scholarship is for high school seniors attending public high schools in Portsmouth, Virginia. Scholarships will be awarded to two students at each of three schools and may be renewed for a total of four years provided that the student maintains a minimum 2.50 GPA at an accredited college or university in Virginia. Recipients will be selected by a committee at their school. Students must demonstrate financial need when applying, be of good character and be in the upper 20% of their class. Applications must be submitted through the school's scholarship counselor.
