Daniel Altmiller Memorial Scholarship
Heritage Fund - The Community Foundation of Bartholomew County
Established by Bill and Jeanne Altmiller to honor the memory of their son, Danny, who passed away in December 2009, and their daughter, Elizabeth, who passed away in July 2015 and to recognize individuals who give their time and talents to help children with special needs. Criteria: Graduating high school senior from the Bartholomew Consolidated School Corp. who plans to pursue a bachelor’s degree at an accredited post-secondary educational institution and major in education, occupational therapy, or physical therapy. Preference will be given to students who specialize in special education, pediatric occupational or pediatric physical therapy and to students who participate in their high school’s Best Buddies program.
