Don Morris Memorial Scholarship

Empower Scholarship Fund

Don Morris was a founding board member of the Empower Scholarship Fund and was a key in the development to ensure its mission is focused on assisting students, specifically those that have a financial need and have a good academic track record. As a non-profit specialist at the Chicago, Illinois law office of Mayer Brown, Don provided necessary legal counsel throughout the development of the Scholarship Fund. Sadly, Don passed away in 2017. However, his vision and leadership provided a path resulting in scholarship assistance for thousands of students.

A scholarship will be awarded to an eligible student enrolled at DeVry University. Applicant must be enrolled at the American University of the Caribbean School of Medicine, Carrington College, Chamberlain University, DeVry University, Keller Graduate School of Management, Ross University School of Medicine or Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine.
Applicant must have successfully transferred or completed at least twenty-four (24) credit hours.
