To be eligible, students must have been enrolled in the mortuary science program at Des Moines Area Community College. Applicants must be a legal Iowa resident and intend to practice funeral service in Iowa upon graduation; have completed two years and have accumulated 60 credits at an accredited college or university; be enrolled in and attending a program in funeral service or mortuary science education accredited by the American Board of Funeral Service Education. Applicants are required to submit proof of legal residency. Acceptable forms of proof of legal Iowa residency are drivers license and voter registration. Sign Up to Start Applying
