James A. Hyter Vocal Music Scholarship

Community Foundation of Greater Memphis

This scholarship is for students who live or attend college in the Memphis, Tennessee, area. To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must possess vocal talent and a love of music. They must also have a GPA of at least 3.0 and be enrolled or intend to enroll in a two- or four-year program at an accredited institution. To apply for this scholarship, applicants must participate in a vocal audition, where they should be prepared to perform a musical selection from each of the following categories: classical, folk songs, and show tunes.
