John Russell Jarman Scholarship

The John Russell Jarman Scholarship was established in 1996 in memory of John Russell Jarman to provide scholarships to graduating seniors at Glenn High School. The scholarship may provide a nonrenewable award for students who will pursue full-time undergraduate degrees from accredited post-secondary institutions. Scholarships will be applied to cost of undergraduate tuition, fees and on-campus room and board.
To receive consideration, applicants must be residents of Forsyth County, be a graduating seniors at Glenn High School, have a cumulative unweighted GPA between 2.75 – 3.0, demonstrate school service or community involvement, and demonstrate financial need, but not restricted to lower family incomes (student’s financial need and merit will be equally weighted).
