Community Foundation of Sarasota County
These scholarships are for high school seniors in Sarasota County who plan to pursue a career in communications, business, economics, or a related area. Half of the awards are merit awards to graduates with a GPA of 3.5 or higher who have also demonstrated a diligent work ethic along with community involvement. Half of the awards are leadership awards to graduates who have achieved a GPA of 3.0 or higher, have overcome personal difficulties and need financial assistance.
