May T. Henry was one of the most popular English teachers in the Oklahoma secondary school system. At the time of her retirement in 1957 she had taught for over 50 years in Tulsa and the surrounding area, primarily at Clinton and Daniel Webster High Schools. Each scholarship of $1,000 is granted directly to the student upon evidence of enrollment in an eligible institution. The scholarship may be renewed annually (for a maximum of four years) while the student
