To apply applicants must be an African American graduating high school senior, have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above on a 4.0 scale by February 1st in the year of graduation, be a United States citizen, complete the scholarship Application Form Online, and submit a typed essay of no less than 300 words on the topic: “Explain the benefits you have gained through the contributions of two (2) trailblazers of African decent (past of contemporary) and how it has benefited you as a person.” See website for details.
