This scholarship is for graduating seniors from high schools in Ohio. To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must be African American, Hispanic, Asian, or American Indian and have a 2.5 GPA. Applicants must be enrolled as college freshmen at an Ohio college or university for the fall of 2018 and plan to major in a field relevant to the newspaper industry, particularly journalism, advertising, marketing, or a communications degree program.
