Rodney Holder Memorial Scholarship

Community Foundation of Abilene

This scholarship is for children of First Responders in Abilene and Taylor County, Texas, which includes Abilene Firefighters, sworn Abilene Police Dept. Officers, sworn Taylor County Sheriff’s Deputies, APD-AFD Dispatchers, and TCSO Public Safety Dispatchers. To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must be graduating high school seniors or currently enrolled full-time students. Applicants must plan to attend a US college or university. Potential for growth in a college environment and financial need will be considered.

Eligibility: Graduating senior or already enrolled in college as a full time student (12 hours), Child of a Taylor County First Responder (Abilene firefighter, sworn Abilene Police Dept., sworn Taylor County Sheriff’s Deputies, APD-AFD Dispatchers, TCSO Public Safety Dispatchers)
