The Harlan and Mabelle Wyrick Memorial Scholarship is awarded annually to a ministerial student who is a member of a Nebraska United Methodist church who plans to become a pastor in the Great Plains Conference of the United Methodist Church. Applicants must attend one of the following seminaries accredited by the Great Plains United Methodist Board of Ordained Ministry: o Saint Paul School of Theology o Garrett-Evangelical Theological Seminary. Applicants should be in his/her junior or senior year of undergraduate studies or is in his/her first year of seminary studies and have a cumulative grade point average of 2.5 or higher in his/her seminary studies.
