Regents' Scholarship Program

To earn a Regents’ Scholarship a student must complete the Utah Scholars Core Course of Study during grades 9-12, meet minimum GPA requirements, ACT requirements, minimum individual grade requirements for the core courses, and graduate from a Utah high school. To be eligible for the Regents’ Scholarship, a student must be a United State Citizen, or a non citizen eligible for federal financial aid. The student cannot have a criminal record other than a minor traffic violation. Students must enroll in 12 or more credits (full-time) for the Fall semester immediately following high school graduation at an eligible Utah institution of higher education and must meet all application deadlines. The scholarship may only be used at the following institutions of the Utah System of Higher Education: Dixie State College, Salt Lake Community College, Snow College, Southern Utah University, University of Utah, Utah State University, Utah Valley University, Weber State University and the following accredited nonprofit institutions in Utah: Brigham Young University-Provo, LDS Business College, and Westminster College.
