Wade and Helen Sue Ward Scholarship

Community Foundation of the Eastern Shore

This scholarship is for graduating seniors at Crisfield High School, Holly Grove Christian School, or Washington High School in Somerset County, Maryland. To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must have been accepted by an approved school, have a 2.5 GPA, and exhibit leadership, citizenship, and ambition. Applicants should pursue a curriculum in health services (nursing, physical therapy, medicine, biology, etc.,), education (teaching, school administration, etc.), or public service (political science, law, etc.). This scholarship may be used for expenses at any accredited two- or four-year college or university, business school, trade or technical school. Scholarships will be awarded based on academic potential/class standing, current academic performance, citizenship, extracurricular school activities, and financial need.
