The Fund perpetuates Mr. Otey’s interest in Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University’s College of Agriculture and Life Sciences. Applicants must be a graduating high school senior resident of Virginia with a minimum high school GPA of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale. Applicants must either enroll on a full-time basis at Roanoke College and either be a music major or perform in one or more of Roanoke College’s recognized choral or instrumental ensembles, or enroll on a full-time basis in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences at Virginia Polytechnic Institute & State University (Virginia Tech).
