For an out-of-state student, the cost can be pretty daunting. However, ASU is very generous with its financial aid and it's pretty easy to get a scholarship from the school. Also, finding housing off-campus can cut down on costs for older students.

The education itself is worth every penny. I would recommend this University to everyone I know. I am very proud to be a Sun Devil for Life! If you can, don't buy your books from the bookstore. The prices are off the charts. There are a few places near campus where you can buy them cheaper if you don't want to buy them on Amazon. Also, several times a year, ASU will pass out coupon books. Sometimes they will have useful coupons for books, food, or school supplies.

When you think about the quality of the education and the school's unique way of thinking and sense of inclusion, It's a really good deal for your money. Scholarships and financial aid are available to those who need them, and you can also apply for on-campus jobs, regardless of whether or not you qualify for federal work-study.

Compared to other universities ASU is a decent price. It isn't the cheapest but most definitely not the most expensive.

Like any school, ASU seems very expensive. However, they offer a lot of scholarships and financial aide. I am supposed to be paying over double what I actually do due to scholarships and an ASU need based job. The classes, like I mentioned, are fairly difficult, but manageable, and ASU has so much help if you ask for it.
