Founded in 1837, Cheyney University of Pennsylvania is the first historically black university in the nation and a member of the Thurgood Marshall Fund. This public institution is home to a planetarium and aquaponics greenhouse, and features a Keystone Honors Academy for professional development and graduate school prep. Cheyne also offers support for pre-law majors through scholarship and the Pre-Law Society. The Academic Student Success Center offers professional and peer tutoring to struggling students year-round.

Cheyney University is a great university. It is not diverse so much, it is more on the African American culture. Its plenty to do on campus.
