College of the Desert has a wealth of resources available for students to succeed in their education. Mostly great staff, although several members are the exceptions. As long as a student remains on top of their work, they won’t experience many problems here.

The classes and school in general are very crowded and understaffed. Some of the professors are excellent with extensive knowledge of their subject and an impressive career history; others will leave you questioning the qualifications needed to teach there. Overall, no better or worse than the average California community college.

College of the Desert had a lot of helpful professors and staff, you just have to know where to look. Some professors make the class too easy though, and I feel like that's not preparing us for University. It's great for people who need certifications, nursing, and even an AA degree.

College of the Desert is a community college located in beautiful Palm Desert. The campus has been undergoing some new renovations, and in my option the campus looks gorgeous. Students are very nice and courteous towards others. I plan on transferring and to be honest I have saved so much more money than some of my classmates that attended 4 year universities .
