the dining room has set times for certain meals and not a lot to offer on off-hours. that being said, you have several options and can always have the staff prepare you a sandwich if you don't like what is being served. we have a contingent of omani students, so there's almost always a non-pork option for those that require it. the meal plan itself is a little spendy, and if you are in a program that takes regular trips to the field (like wind energy, also athletics) you may be suffering, as the packed lunches are sub-par. if you're joining for athletics (baseball, basketball, volleyball) you are forced to buy the diamond meal plan.
