We are a half hour away from Chattanooga and about 15mins from the Ocoee River. There are so many possibilities for outdoor activity and for city activity. Also if you are looking for a party scene Lee has one of the best underground scenes in the country and some of the Greeks are known for partying. Also UTK is only two hours away if that's what your looking for.

Cleveland is not that exciting, but Chattanooga is a quick drive. There are several places to go hike and explore, but even with Chattanooga, there is not much of a city life scene. If you enjoy the outdoors, you will find many things to do for fun.

Go to one of the campus' parties. While these are openly christian students, take your preconceived notions of prudish spoiled kids and throw them out the window. They have a lot of fun without doing anything dangerous. Their sports teams kick butt, too. So i'd imagine going to a game or two once in a while would be fun.

Cleveland is a very small town and there isn't a whole lot to do. There is a mall, but it's not the greatest. However, Hamilton Place Mall is an amazing mall and is only about 30 minutes away. There is also a movie theater in Cleveland. Cleveland is not too small in that there are coffee shops that have live music and there is a bowling alley. But the nice thing is that Chattanooga has a lot to do and is fairly closely. Good things to do in Chattanooga are going to the bridge, playing in the fountain underneath the bridge, or going to the art museum (free). Nashville and Atlanta are both about 2.5 hours away. Most Lee students have an eno and enjoy ending around the school or at the on campus parks with friends. There also seems to always be some sort of event sponsored either by the school, a greek club, or just a regular club. Many students like to go hiking. Chillhowee is a popular place to go for its beauty and because Benton Falls is there and because there is a beach (lake-type thing). There is also the Blue Hole or Blue Cove. You'll have to ask around for directions.

Cleveland may be a smaller city, but there is plenty to do! There are tons of ways to get involved on campus. If you want a night out in a city, Chattanooga is only 30 minutes away. Nearby are also many hiking trails, swimming holes, and rivers close to the mountains.
