Freshman year is not a time to mess around. Find classes and subjects that interest you and get into a major you are excited about. Join a club. THere are all kinds of clubs for different activities and interests. You will find people to hang out with that like to do the same things you do. This doesn't leave friend making to the luck of who you end up by in the dorms. Have fun and live life. Study hard but don't spend every waking moment on your studies. You are young and you live in one of the best ski towns in the US. GO SKI.

Get involved in as much as you can, but stay on top of classes. There is plenty to do on and off of campus. Have a fun time.

Know how to study well, effectivly and efficiently. Get to know your professor and ask them for help earlier rather than later. Get to know other people and form study groups especially in those harder classes. Bouncing ideas off of each other is a great way to learn from each and better learn the material.

Don't procrastinate because it will not be like High School. Get help from SmartyCats tutoring if you need help or go to teacher's office hours. Get to know people through clubs or dorm life activities. Have fun! Don't tell people you are a Griz fan (rival school team) ->just a joke.
