    -focus on your community service and volunteer experiences, tulane really loves to see students engaged with their community -a high gpa and sat/act score is guaranteed to get you great merit aid, so keep up your grades to attend a top school without going horribly into debt -really work on time management skills. there are so many things to do every day on campus and in the city and you have to take a step back and remember why you are there in the first place-to get an education

    Have fun, but don't get too caught up in the partying. Don't compare yourself to others too much, because it will drive you insane Your freshman party buddies will probably not be your life long friends Try to branch out as much as possible socially because you can meet some amazing people If you think you cannot honestly perform well in the class drop it early and take something else Take advantage of student services such as CAPS, tutoring, advising, and the success center.
