Founded by three rabbis, the Academy for Jewish Religion-California is a transdenominational training school for Jewish community and religious leaders in Los Angeles. AJCRA is home to Rabbinical, Cantorial, and Chaplaincy Schools holding classes from Sunday through Tuesday. As a Jewish institution, AJRCA students pray together in minyanim and lead services. Once every year, the AJRCA student body and staff participate in an Annual Retreat featuring several days of learning and contemplation together.
