What Students Are Saying

3.16 Average Rating
This is the perfect school for students looking to concentrate on their studies, be part of a beautiful campus, and have the opportunity to meet many different people.
Lori from New York, NY
Study hard during senior year in high school. Take as much AP course because they a very useful in college. Enroll into the school early. The earlier the greater the scholarship amount.
Wilbert from Garden City Park, NY
Talk to a financial aid counselor for the best financial aid help! They help you a great deal and they are very nice.
Rosalind from Franklin Square, NY
Look at the flyers on the walls in the buildings, that is how you will find out about activities and where to meet people.
Sarah from Norwich, CT
Come to open house and see for yourself why this is a highly acclaimed school.
Samantha from Holbrook, NY
Wifi is EVERYWHERE but the dorms so you must bring an ethernet cable for your laptops...even though incoming students get free iPads. If you are a party person be sure to stay with friends, the campus is not in itself dangerous but the slightest vulnerability can harm just about anyone. Enjoy everything LIU Post has to offer internships, clubs, and the academic attributes as well.
Khadija from Brooklyn, NY
Really make sure you have the financial aid for the school. Try to get as much cash as you can from them, scholarships, and federal aid. Long Island university is a great school but the knowledge of you owing money will stress you out.
Kiana from Freeport, NY
In order to graduate on time, you have to visit your advisors to speak about your major.
Kristina from Forest Hills, NY
