Founded in 1853 by a local Presbyterian congregation, Westminster College is a 4-year liberal arts college in central Missouri. Westminster grants undergraduate degrees in 33 academic majors and 41 minors. As the site of Winston Churchill’s famous “Iron Curtain” speech, Westminster is home to the National Churchill Museum. For students interested in history and architecture, Westminster features an entire district of campus on the National Register of Historic Places and the university is known for its trademark columns, the last surviving vestige of the original Westminster Hall.
westminster college has a wide veriety of options for students to get involved and experience something new. this campus has a lot of history to it. winston churchill gave his famus iron curton speech, not only that but our campus holds a peice if the berlin wall that separated east from west Germany.
