Program Components

Travelers EDGE® increases access to higher education and provides students with opportunities to excel. The program empowers students to progress from high school to post-secondary education, building a strong pipeline of future leaders.

The Travelers EDGE (Empowering Dreams for Graduation and Employment) program exists to increase the number of underrepresented individuals who complete a bachelor’s degree and are prepared for a career in the financial services industry. To date, the program has awarded over 500 students in St. Paul, Atlanta, Baltimore, and Hartford.

Travelers EDGE Scholars receive:

  • Up to $12,500 annually in scholarship for school (for up to six years)
  • Personalized academic advising 
  • Professional development
  • Internship Opportunities at Travelers each year
  • Stipends for books and emergencies 
  • Mentoring and a support network
