This scholarship is for graduating high school students in the Tri-State region, defined as the following: Boone, Bracken, Campbell, Gallatin, Grant, and Kenton counties in Kentucky; Dearborn, Franklin, Ohio, Switzerland, and Union counties in Indiana; and Brown, Butler, Clermont, Clinton, Greene, Hamilton, Highland, Montgomery, Preble, and Warren counties in Ohio. To qualify, applicants must have at least a 2.5 GPA OR a composite ACT score of 18 and be enrolling in an accredited Tri-State college or university by fall 2016. Applicants must demonstrate a desire and intent to overcome adversity, have financial need, excel academically, and fulfill a leadership role in the community.
