This scholarship is for residents of California who are high school graduates or holders of a GED diploma. To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must be enrolled in or accepted for enrollment in a postsecondary mechanical automotive technician training program (auto body repair programs are excluded). Academic awards, recognition, and honors will be considered. Financial need and diversity may be considerations. Scholarship recipients must maintain a minimum part-time status (complete 6 units) each term. Preference will be given to Automotive Youth Education Systems (AYES) graduates and applicants employed by members of the CNCDA.
