Scholarship Overview

This scholarship is for high school seniors planning to pursue a career in journalism. To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must be graduating from a North Texas high school and be residents of one of the following counties in Texas: Collin, Dallas, Denton, Ellis, Kaufman, Rockwall, or Tarrant. Applicants must have a minimum GPA of 3.0, show a demonstrated aptitude for print journalism and plan to pursue a four-year degree in journalism, and exhibit community service leadership. Applicants must be US citizens or legal, permanent residents with a permanent resident card.
