Scholarship Overview

This scholarship is for registered, active members of a Boy Scout Troop, Varsity Scout Team or Venturing Crew chartered to an American Legion post, American Legion Auxiliary unit, or the Sons of the American Legion squadron. Also eligible are registered, active members of a chartered Boy Scout Troop, Varsity Scout Team, or Venturing Crew who are sons or grandsons of a Legionnaire or Auxiliary member. To qualify, applicants must have received the Eagle Scout Award; be an active member of their religious institution and have received the appropriate Boy Scout religious emblem; have demonstrated practical citizenship in church, school, Scouting, and the community; have reached their 15th birthday and be enrolled in high school at the time of selection; and reside in Indiana.
