Scholarship Overview

This scholarship is for African American students who are college sophomores or juniors at an accredited college or university. To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must be journalism majors (print media), have a cumulative 3.0 GPA, be US citizens, and be residents of Arkansas, Louisiana, Oklahoma, Texas, Kansas, Missouri, or New Mexico. Applicants must include an essay on "The credo of the Black press." Scholarship applications must be submitted online via email.
