This scholarship is for high school students from rural schools in Kentucky who have a passion for using technology skills to make a positive social change in the world or at home in their communities. Applicants must be active members of the Student Technology Leadership Program (STLP) at their respective high school. To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must be pursuing a college major in the area of computer technology, including computer information systems, information systems management, network and systems administration, telecommunications, computer engineering, computer programming, or other computer technology majors subject to approval. This scholarship will be awarded based on applicants' passion for their intended technology career and their sense of citizenship and pride in their rural community.
