This scholarship is for female undergraduate engineering and pre-engineering students who are pursuing a Bachelor of Science or Engineering degree in a course of study that traditionally has been a preparatory curriculum for the HVAC&R profession. To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must have a cumulative 3.0 GPA and/or a class standing of no less than the top 30%. Applicants must be enrolled in a program at a post-secondary educational institution that meets at least one of the following criteria: the institution hosts a recognized ASHRAE student branch, the program is accredited by the ABET in the United States, or the program is accredited by an equivalent agency outside the United States that is part of the Washington-Accord or has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with ABET.
